Not a bad game for a lot of reasons; BUT, AI cheats. Rolls far too many advantageous doubles. The egos of the developers must preclude them from seeing the flaws. Also, very often AI gets the precise rolls it needs when behind. I have tried many backgammon apps, this one showed promise, but the AI is a poor sport. I sent this review before, but must say I have worked with a lot of people from the former USSR, and have found that they find defeat unacceptable, usually. Unfortunately, these game developers havent learned. AI still cheats. Dont buy this game.

Wrote to support twice about the network problem and they never took time to respond!! Since update of May 9 it doesnt let me play online and keeps saying to check my Internet connection! I am connected fine. Lowered my rating until this issue is fixed! Also, when I am in the watching game mode nothing happens but a frozen table with no movement. Please fix! Take notice that the checkers appear to hop not merely move - irritating.

I love playing backgammon and this game is horribly bad. It will do everything it can to make sure that you lose your gold in hopes that you will spend your hard earned money on buying more gold coins. I mean it is just ridiculous what happens when ur winning the game. Just as u have the advantage and it looks like theres no way that you can possibly lose, the game all of a sudden gives ur opponent four sets of doubles in a row. And of course u get to roll the lowest possible rolls that u can. In no way do I expect to win all the time but this game insults ur intelligence because this just doesnt happen as often as the game will have u believe. Do urself a favor and read other reviews and see what I mean. Dont waste ur time on this game.

It is stuck on "loading" screen on both iPad 3 and iPhone 6+. Both have the latest iOS. I am using the paid version.

great fun, challenging & filled with players from around the world! love it!

Offline game is okay but real challenges are online. You have to learn how to play a very strong game to compensate for the luck of the dice with some players. I started with a little gold and now have a lot of gold although I came close to losing what I had a number of times. New gold is cheap enough. I dont play the big money games very much. Ive played them all and this is by far the best because you have to become good to play a lot and win a lot. Im in USA. Players can chat and most everyone is nice and friendly. Of course there are the exception and the app allows to blacklist and also to make friends. I give This app is the only solid 5 star rating Ive handed out!

Latest update is terrible. Dice rolls are not random, their code uses algorithms 12-13 years old that are "seeded" at the start of games according to their docs. Why not use a straight random number generator across the universe of games? New update appears to favor less experienced users, dice rolls have become predictable against less experienced players, new pop ups requesting users to make in app purchases. I guess if you dont make an additional purchase your play may be penalized? How about a version ROLLBACK? By the way nice graphics and overall playability,

This is the best backgammon game I have played. The computer isnt a big challenge if you are good so you really need to play other players for the challenge.

This is, by far, the best backgammon app Ive found. Its totally worth the cost.

App is pretty good if you can minimize frustration with cheat factor. Sometimes sticks on review request pop up.

I have serious problems with your new update 1.6.21 all characters are shown as emojis and fully damaged, my phone is iPhone6S , please fix it :|
